Common faults of coating compound 13

Compound coater There will be many failures in the miscellaneous process, among which there are failures of various reasons. This paper describes the causes and solutions of 13 common failures.
The reason for the difference of peeling strength was as follows
1. Low surface tension, poor surface treatment effect and uneven surface tension affect the surface bonding of melt extruded resin, resulting in low peel strength and uneven peel strength.
2. The substrate surface is not clean, with dirt, grease and other dirt, which leads to the decrease of the bonding strength between the molten resin and the membrane surface.
3. The melt index (MI) of the resin is low. Generally, the higher the melt index of the resin, the better its mobility and adhesion. Therefore, in the extrusion process, if the selected resin melt index is low and the integration is poor, good adhesion can not be applied to the substrate, which will reduce the peel strength.
4. The additives in the resin (especially the smoothing agent) may adversely affect the peeling strength of the extruded composite film.
5. The temperature of extruder barrel and die is too low, the resin plasticization is poor, the melt resin can not be well compounded with the substrate to be coated, and the peel strength is reduced.
6. The resin temperature is low, and the surface oxidation of resin is not sufficient, which is not conducive to the wetting and penetration of molten resin on the coating substrate, which affects the peeling strength of the extrusion composite membrane.
7. In the extrusion process, the peeling strength of gap peeling composite film also has a great influence. If the air gap is too small, the surface oxidation of the resin is not enough, which makes the strength of the composite worse; if the air gap is too large, the heat loss of the molten resin, and the temperature of the composite is too low, the peeling strength will also be reduced.
eight Compound coater The pressure is small, and the adhesion between the molten resin and the substrate is not tight, and the stripping fastness is reduced.
9. If the surface temperature of cooling steel roller is too low, the cooling speed is too fast and the composite strength is reduced.
10. The thickness of extrusion composite layer is too thin, which leads to the decrease of peel strength.
11. When the speed of the extrusion main motor is constant, the composite line speed is faster, the composite layer becomes thinner, the temperature of the molten resin decreases rapidly, and the adhesion force with the substrate decreases, which leads to the peeling strength.
12. Type or improper quality of primer (AC agent)
13. Insufficient drying of primer and residual solvent or water lead to the decrease of peel strength of extruded composite film.
